Bike Week 09

Well its that time of the year again. Laconia NH bike week, we are not off to a good start with the rain we are having, then again what else is new, it rains every year during this time.
I am hoping to get out there to do some riding and see if there is anything new. Each year it seem like its the same old thing, nothing is new. I will be riding the sea coast, from NH to ME. its a nice long cool ride. Need to stay out of Hampton Beach, cops don't like anyone on bikes. LOL.
I will be taking pic of places this year, I haven't done that over the past few years.
well this is all until the rain stop and I can get out there.

well now that all the hard part is done, I just need to sew it all together then quilt it.

I enjoy working on this, I am thinking about making another one but this time just using one or two colors.

I am not done yet but here is what I been working on. I still need to sew the rows together then add the edges. It is small, I just wanted to see if I can do it and how it would turn out. If I like it when it is done I will do it again but with soild colors of 2 different shades of yellow with off white back ground.

I got this pattern from Eleanor Burns Egg money book.

My baby is all set and ready to roll.

Yes this is my other baby, isn't she sweet? A gift from my boyfriend last year. This was his bike and he wasn't riding her because he got a fat boy (HD) so I ask for her, after riding for 2 summers he though it was time for me to have her. she is a sweet ride. Last year I put over 2000 mile on her and that was just in the first month and a half. Got her started up and put on new back tire so now she is ready. The only thing she needs is a good bath and quick shine.

So far I been on 100 mile runs. Hoping to head into the mountains soon, I did that one year and it was beautiful. I will be sure to get pics when I go out next time.

This is my first time on here so bare with me.
I would like to show off some of my craft that I have been doing over the years, some are done and some....well you will see.
